After a couple of days being looked after at my Mom and Stepdad's place, it was time to go home. Matt recently fractured his shoulder in two places, so his lovely sister, Jess, has come to stay to help us out.

I have been absolutely spoilt with gifts, books, flowers and cards and feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family around me.

I've had a few hospital checkups and everything has been going well. I was quite impressed that they used some Manuka honey dressings on my wounds. I have almost stopped taking painkillers.

I was booked in for 28 June for my results from the tissue they removed during the partial mastectomy. I expected that I would be given the all clear and that I could finish up healing, get the radiotherapy over and done with, and move on to better things. I was wrong...
